I'm trying to decide if I should make a special dinner tonight. I guess if I do it & he still rejects me, I'll know we have a very serious problem. He used to love it when I put on sexy lingerie & high heels. He'd ask me to & ask if I was sure I didn't mind. I love doing it, so it was no problem at all. But then he'd tell me "you don't even need that...you're beautiful & sexy just the way you are." But 2 weeks ago we got into a fight on the phone & he said "you never do anything romantic, like have dinner waiting for me, candles, music, wearing something sexy...if you did that I'd be a real jerk to refuse you..." Is that a mixed message or what?? And I have done some of that...we usually cook dinner together. He says he likes to cook for me. And I certainly put lingerie on, but I haven't gone ahead & put it on much cuz it's freezing cold & he lives in a basement suite! But I put it on at bedtime & he ignores me. I just can't win.
