Today was pretty relaxefull at work. I finished most of what needed done at the place. Paul was only supposed to be two hours, but he never got there until seven. Made my day really easy. I kept busy, but I do feel a little guilty that he had to pay, even tho I didn't really work much. The money does help tho. I'm not going to complain. Been doing some thinking about past freinds lately, and feeling a little down about it. It seems funny sometimes with recovery, and I don't understand it. before when I was doing well, I was a very good person. I was working hard at being the kind of person God would want of me, but I find that others sometimes have problems with that. It seems when your nice, and try not to be selfish, people seem to look at this as a defect, or weakness. I had a freind before, but it seems that they couldn't handle the niceness or something. They always seemed to try and look for faults or something, just to bring you down, or something. I am angry at times when I think about it, but I also feel good knowing that I truly did what was needed, and beyond. I'm not blowing my horn, but when I'm keeping sober, and doing the do things, I am good. I don't seem to be able to address this problem, because it seems like anything I say that isn't what they want to hear, they just cut it, like that. It seems to be either their way, or no way. I'm just leaving it alone for the time being. Perhaps God will work on it. I hope. Thank you, Lord.
