Today not really doing much. Mostly staying inside here at the center because it's a snow storm outside. I think this is one of the biggest ones we have had this year. Snow just doesn't want to stop. I started cooking some food here at the center. I bought a crock pot, some nice spices, some pork and now I have a nice stew going. I'm hoping that this will atract some other addict in coming here. Food always is inviting to people. I'm still trying to get some meetings here. Still trying to work out what I want to do. Anyway, the stew smells beutiful. The whole place smells so good. It really adds that homeness to the place.                             I did a stupid thing yesterday that I feel bad about. One of the guys left a site he was using on the computer when he left. I was haveing a little fun by adding a message. Today he was in and seen the message. It really spiraled and got a little out of controle. I really didn't have any idea that it would go the way it did. Things are alright now, but I did learn a good lesson from it all. I have to remember that some of the people here have issues, and it's not good to play with them. What I think is funny, might not be funny to them. Especially with computers. Talking with people and joking around in person can be alright, but I find with computers that not being able to directly communicate with someone can be totally differant. I talk with this one person, and sometimes I've noticed that little things can get the mind thinking things that aren't happening. A word spelld wrong, or waiting for a response can really create havoc in the mind of an addict. We start trying to guess whats really going on. For myself that can be bad.         Anyway, I finally got my room cleaned up. Smells good now. I have these cheap shoes that I bought for work and they really make my feet stink by the end of the day. When I leave my dirty socks out, my room starts to stink to. So now thats taken care of. I also cleaned the rest of the place. The washroom, hallway. Place gets like a pig sty. There's two other guys that share the washroom and kitchen, but their still users and drinkers. They won't clean a thing if their life depended on it. The one guys room is really starting to smell. I might even complain to him soon because when I come home I smell his feet or something. Not nice at all. At least the rest is nice now. When I got to the center I cleaned that to. I find cleaning can be really theraputic. When things smell nice I feel good, and having things in order I feel is a reflection of our state of wellness. When I was drinking and druging I didn't care about wheather things smelled good or not, and I didn't have the energy to clean or do anything at all. The only energy that I had was to get drugs, or alcohol. Thank God those days are finished. I thank you Lord for all that you have done. I thank you for this new life, with it's oportunities to grow and lean. Most of all, I thank you for releiving me of the obsession of using, and helping me to be the person that you meant me to be. Thank you Lord.
