Work went pretty good, had one complaint that I ate something. Frigging people seem to be always watching for something to say. I'm around food all day, and sometimes I just want a taste. Alright, I'll just have to try not to taste anymore. Yesterday the guy in the dishroom told me that he lost his money and bus pass. He said that he was drinking. Funny because we were talking about that Saturday when we were waiting for the bus. I told him that I didn't drink anymore because I was tired of loseing stuff. I didn't mention that I was in A.A. or anything, because he's from work. Just a young guy. Seems to be alright, but I can tell that he likes to drink. Anyway, the working center left me a message about a discount pass that was waiting forb me. I already bought my pass so I was just going to forgette about it. I thought that it was something just for the month. I told this kid that I could get a pass for him that would save him about thirty dollars, since he needs one for work. I went today to get it and it's a sticker they give you that allows you to have the discount every month till next Jan, then you can renew it. So now every month I'll save twenty bucks on my pass. Funny thing is that I would have just forgot about it, and not known that it was good for every month, if it wasn't for me trying to help out this guy. god does work in funny ways sometimes. So now this kid will get a pass, and I'll save about $200.00. I would never have known about this if it wasn't for this kids misfortune. Amazing. Last night after I left the Center and got home, I could tell that the other guys there were smoking crack again. For an instant the thought of smoking some crossed my mind. I knew that I wasn't going to. I am scared that if I did do that I would surely die. I really beleive that, but I found it strange how those thoughts can just come like that. The guy in the next room knocked on my door wanting to borrow my lighter. I gave it to him and layed back down. I can here everything in my room. After I hear the lighter flicking, and flicking. I knew now that he was jonesing and trying to get that last toke thats never there. I thought to God how thankful I am that I have enough sanity now that I don't have to live that way. My God is good to me. I've had a little over two months of pure good living. Everything has been wonderful. I love living now, where as before I dreaded it. Thank you so much Lord for taking me out of that old life. Thank you so much.
