Today I feel really good. The people at work seem to have calmed down and are being nice to me. I was thinking today that maybe it was something  about my personality or something that started things. I've been looking at this fourth step stuff that I'm going to start next week, and I started thinking that maybe this was because of one of those defects. I don't know, because I think I'm wonderful. Maybe it's because of being a chef before. Some of that old arogance may have popped out, I'm not sure. I was thinking that I might ask my supervisor about it, I really would like to know if it was me so I can be aware of it, and work on it. Anyway, things are going very well now and the people are treating me good. This weekend is a very special time for me. I've been anticipating it for a long time. I'll be seeing a very special person. I want to say more, but I can't. All I can say is this person has played a major role in my sobriety. We've done some wild and crazy things, but it's all been very good. And thats all I can say about that right now. being sober is really great, but what I've been into more is recovery. To me, recovery is growing and learning. It's learning to live. So far, it's been the most fantastic trip that I have ever been on. I keep waiting for something to go wrong, but it hasn't. It really feels like I have been given a completly new life. I've got a new outlook on life now. I have hope, and I have a vision of what God is wanting me to do. I don't care about chasing the money anymore and being a bigshot. The only thing I really want is more of this wonderful, peaceful feeling that seems to be with me most of the time. I feel like I'm just going with the flow and co-operating with God, finaly. Lord, I thank you for this life you've given me. I pray that I make the best of everything you bring before me. Thank you.
