Already 41 days sober. Time has just flew by. I really have not had any problems. I don't feel any urges to use or drink. I've had lots of money, but no thoughts at all to drink. I never want to live that old life again, if you can call that living. I really love the person that I am now. I'm useful and have some purpose now. What a real blessing that is. I have so much good things going on now. It's amazing how I could have lived through that life, but now I'm free. I am really free. The chains of addiction has been broken somehow and I am free. What a wonderful feeling this is, but I know it doesn't mean that you sit on your ass. You can't keep it unless you give it away, and I practise that in everything I do now. Whenever I have the chance to give now, I do it. I don't even say anything when I do it. What a wonderful feeling that is. All my life I always made people see any good thing that I did, if I did good at all. It was a totally self centered life that only made me lonely. Now people like me. That really makes me feel good. When I go to the meetings I get lots of hugs, and hand shakes. It really is a good life. Very simple, but good. Thank you so much, Lord.
