I feel fantastic today. I love this life, it just keeps getting better. Being sober and liveing for recovery is really amazing. Funny how I fought it so long. And it's really easy when you stop fighting. Develope a relationship with God, and just try to do your best and things happen. They really do. I was worrying abit because I got a cheque from welfare to start this month, but I started working on the 7 of last month. I didn't get paid until the 18, and I put my income statement in on the 16. So I thought they were going to give me a hard time and want the money back. I phoned them today and told them everything. My worker asked what all I needed. I told her some things I could use, now there going to give me more money. There going to pay my bus pass for the next couple of months, and there going to pay my medication until my benefits from work kick in. I was worried about that. That Seraquil is really expensive. Cost about $140.00 a month, and then I have the Effexor. the money I got from the cheque, I paid of Money Mart, which I owed from more than a year ago( Cash advance to buy crack when I was in Milton, got busted and couldn't pay it back till now.) So now I'm getting more money because I'm working. And it's all legit. Just from doing the right things. See, our minds try to tell us all kinds of shit that will happen in situations, like welfare. I was thinking they were going to do all this bad stuff that would sqrew everything all up. They were going to make me pay it back, and maybe garnish my wages, but by standing firm with my faith in God, I was able to choose to do the right thing. None of that shit happened. All good came from it. My mind tries to play these tricks on me all the time, but I know what God says, and if things don't line up with what he says, I have to push it away. It's hard sometimes because I feel like things are the way my mind is telling me, but I have to choose Gods way. It is hard sometimes, but it's so amazing, the results are awsome when I do that. Lord God, thank you so much.
