I am back trying to conceive and am feeling completely frustrated again.  I am on my second cycle and it seems that everytime I ovulate something bad happens.   The first time we tried after the d&c, my husband had a root canal because he broke a tooth.  My husband, who is normally completely brave (he is afterall a firefighter and paramedic) has an unusal fear of dentists and was in quite a bit of pain.  You can imagine how not in the mood he was.  Now this month, wouldn't you know, I come down with the flu only 5 days after recovering from a sinus infection.   And of course, now I can't get in the mood (and I am ovulating again).  I even had the flu shot (but aparently it isn't protecting against most of the strains of flu this year).  Why is this happening?  Does God not want me to have a baby?  Why should it be so hard?

Hi! I understand how you feel. This is our 3rd cycle after D & C and it can get frustrating. It is hard to always be in the mood:) I don\'t even mention it to my husband when I am ovulating anymore because it stresses him out and he thinks we should not be focusing on having a baby but simply expressing our love toward one another. We are trying to have sex every other day and I might push it up a notch when i think I am ovualting. I am not going to use the OP sticks anymore because they add more stress. Plu, everyday I pee on the stick, I am constantly thinking about getting pregnant. I wish you much luck in March!!!
