4 Years Cigarette Free Today

So why am I depressed?
HALT:  Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired.
Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes.
Nothing changes. I don't change.
Life is static.
The one accomplishment, quitting smoking, can't even go on my damn  resume.
Who gives a shit?
I am that 1 Puff Away from a Pack a Day.
Just keep on walking. Keep. On. Walking.

Sorry I was so grumpy when I wrote that. I\'m feeling better today. Just trying to figure out how to celebrate it. Went to Zumba class. Took a nice luxurious shower. Am going to an ACA meeting tonight. Going out to dine alone is stressful, so I\'m not doing something like that. A friend cautioned me against buying something for my cats -- she knows me too well. So, how to celebrate me today?

I enjoy walking and buying my favourite food to make a nice lunchbox dinner. I love buying flowers but it has to be a treat or special occasion. Maybe you could buy yourself a special picture to go on your wall to remember how far you\'ve come or a necklace/bracelet ? Xxx

Congratulations Amy! You know you are I are about the same time frame being Cigarette free; yeah for us both. I\'m not sure there will ever be a time when I will lose the desire to \"puff away\" as you put it. But I celebrate that I have done it this far and am very proud of myself. I don\'t know if it helps, but from a fellow smoker, I am VERY PROUD of you. I know how difficult it is. Especially when those feelings begin to come up that we have stuffed by \"smoking\" instead. Great job! xo

CONGRATULATIONS ON 4 YEARS SMOKE FREE! That is amazing! I do hope you will buy yourself a nice little keepsake or jewellry, as has been suggested-fab idea!

Or a walk somewhere flowery just smelling the flowers and the fresh air, then buying and eating something totally yummy.

I actually don\'t see why it can\'t go on your resume Hon, it takes immense courage and willpower to give up the baccie, and you did it. X
