4 months

Yeap been four months since the break up.

She reached out again... smh.  This time was the first time that she even got close to asking how I was doing. But it was only an attempt to get a reaction out of me. She even stated as much "that a respond would be awesome."

She doesnt get the idea of boundaries, of allowing someone to heal from the mistrust and disrespect she caused.

I will say without the breakup and deceit she caused, it would not have opened up and exposed the real wounds I had been hiding for years. Yes those wounds are deep and painful, and will only get ugly before they start to heal. But I know with the help I am getting they will heal, I just cant see the healing currently. The damage that was done years ago made me who I am. I must deal with the damage, hurt and pain before I can be completely happy.

Glad your on that golden path to healing and freeing yourself. When you are dealing with certain relationship issues there is a strategy that is extremely powerful its called "Going No Contact". Dont be visible or available to her on social media or via phone. This truly gives you a chance to heal and nurture yourself- Good Luck-
