Every now and then I have an epiphany. In most cases various pieces of information in the filing cabinet of my brain will suddenly fit together like a puzzle-even though i didn't know there was a puzzle. Thinking about how ex has talked #4 in to taking pharmacy tech classes so she can get a pharmacy tech job here when she comes. Ok, but also he says once that happens she's going to take medical coding classes so she will have both. He's always been very big on more and more and more education and skills. When we first met, I was an accounting major and didn't have much longer to go to graduate. He was always saying I should take a class to be a notary or I should do this or tha so I could have my own business, etc. He never could understand that I didn't want my own business. he was always starting these littles businesses on the side to bring extra money. I didn't want any of that. But,now I remember that he did this with #2 also. He was teaching as an adjunct at a local community college along with whatever else he was doing at the time-I don't remember. But I do remember him telling me, that it was because of him that she was also teaching as an adjunct there. He said she originaally didn't want to, but he talked her in to it and then she liked it. I'm not sure about #1...The thing is...he is never satisfied. He always thinks something can and should be improved. Make a gourmet meal? Yes, it was good, but next time let's try.....Never ever satisfied with the status quo. And he always has a better idea-it always has to be his idea. When we were dating there were some guys we hung out with. Everytime he would say something about going by the time he asked me, he'd already asked them and didn't like it when I wanted it to be just us. So one time he was talking to me about going to the show and I said...Yes! And we should ask the guys. He immediately said "no, we need some time for just us." One semester there was a new guy and he went with us to the video store to pick out vids to watch. I was just standing there and he asked if I didn't want to get one. I told him "there's no point. Either he's seen it, doesn't want to, doesn't like who is in it, etc...he looked at me like I was a shrew. At the end of that semester my guy wanted to go to the vid stor. The new guy and I said we'll just sta in the car so get what you want.. My guy said "I'll let you pick out something" the new guy and I looked at each other and started laughing.
