The guy I usually work with wed., thur., and fri. is out of town for the week on business so I am stuck working with someone I really can't stand. He's lazy and he fucking stinks. Plus he does a million other little things that drive me crazy. I wasn't mentally prepared for this today and ended up having a terrible day at work. All I could think about was calling in sick for the next two days to avoid working with him but I don't have any sick days left so I wouldn't get paid which sucks. I feel like I can get through the next two days but I will be constantly irritated and pissed off. This sucks! I try to tell myself that now I know I will be working with him I can mentally prepare for it and maybe get through the next couple days but I just don't know. The thought of going into work the next couple days just fills me with anxiety and dread. I don't know what to do, call in sick and not get paid or work with someone I truly can't stand and most likely be miserable.

Oh Pagan I\'m sorry I\'m laughing at your comment \"He fucking stinks!\" I am so sorry I hate body odor when it can be taken care of with a shower! I sure hope you make it through it. Maybe you should just say really loud \"I fucking smell something do you??\"HAHAHA!! Sorry I\'m not very helpful. BIG HUGS!!

Oh, I HATE being mentally ill-prepared and then being slammed with anger, fruatration, irriation, disgust, etc. all day. And to know you have to do it again for the next two days... I\'m so sorry dear. Can we think of something funny for you to think about every time you see this guy? Maybe imagine him doing something that is completely humiliating, or disgusting (in a funny way), or idiotic - something that will make you laugh. Sorry, that\'s what I do, and it helps. I make up a little story about the person (a story that highlights their horrible-ness), and picture a funny part every time I see them.

Good luck in the next 2 days P! I\'ll be thinking of you!! xoxo

Goodness, Pagan, what a pickle! I\'d say, grab your nostril stoppers and keep up with work. Perhaps, you could suggest politely to this fellow that his \'ADLs\' need attention! (Activities of daily living....or....\"How My Therapist Rates How I\'m Doing\") I agree with Nester and Sadie -- make something funny out of it! OK. Nose gear, check! Good luck, sweetie! xoxo

Thanks everyone for your comments. It sounds unanimous, I must use laughter somehow to deal with this stinky person and help me get through this. I agree and I made it through one more day, only one left. You all actually got me to smile and laugh at the situation and I really appreciate that.
