So, I get to work this morning and my co-worker informs me that I am going to get forced to work a double shift again. Its a long story how he knows and I didn't know ahead of time so I won't get into an explanation. Bottom line is I got forced to work a double again and I was extremely pissed off about it. Plus, it simply upset me. I actually felt like I wanted to cry like a baby. I got out of work late tonight so I ended up working about 18 fucking hours! Its 1:30am now and I have to get up at 4:45am to go back to work. I'm so tired and pissed off that I don't even know if I will be able to sleep or sleep well. I am such an emotional mess I also can't stop thinking about cutting. It helps in a way but makes me feel worse in other ways. I'm a mess. Get another job some might say and I've thought about it but there are some things to consider. Its not easy at all to find a good job that I would like and pays well and offers good benefits, etc. Also, this job pays well and I have a fair amount of bills and for most of the roughly 6 years I've been with this job I have really liked it. They have there faults but overall this company is a good company and treats their employees well for the most part. I also can't ignore the fact that I feel the biggest reason why I don't like my job right now is because I am in a severe depression. This has happened before and I have quit jobs I probably shouldn't have. The reality is I am very depressed and hate my job right now and just don't know what to do about it. I'm so sick of hearing myself complain. I suck!

Depressed or not, having to go back to work in 3 hours isn\'t really ok. Can you call out tomorrow? To keep yourself somewhat together and healthy? I\'m sorry, idk how else to help. But I hear you and feel for you. (((hugs)))
Pagan, I think you and me both need to enforce some assertiveness at our jobs. We are both putting up with things that simply are not right. ((((Hugs))))
I\'d be lucky to get ANY job! I shouldn\'t really be complaining!
Can you find similar work elsewhere with a more understanding Boss? Or is it a case of needing the paycheque?
