Had my first ECT treatment this past Wed. and I think it went well. I was very nervous but the people there were nice and made me feel somewhat at ease. I know after I go a few times I will feel more at ease. It was my first time for several things. First time being put to sleep for anything, first EKG and of coarse my first ECT. I awoke to a major headache which I was expecting and my whole body was sore, like I worked out every single muscle in my body. Even today (friday) I am very sore. It hurts to move. Don't know if this is normal but I will ask them on Mon. I have a feeling it is a normal reaction, just one more thing to deal with. I'm trying to keep the big picture in mind……and that is that despite the side effects this will hopefully help me.

I hope this does help you too, P. That stinks that you\'ve been so sore, I hope that starts to maybe go away after you\'ve done it few times.
I was thinking the same thing joneszy. I hope your right.
Good luck to you you brave soul. My thoughts are with you. I hope you\'ll start feeling better real soon.
I\'m with Joneszy.... hopefully once your body becomes a little accustomed to them it won\'t ache as much.... I hope it\'s the beginning of something new all round for you Pagan... a fresh start in many ways.. I really am keeping everything crossed for you and saying a prayer to the Goddesses of love and fate for you
((((hugs))))
Maybe it\'s like going to the gym??? We can hope, right? I\'m glad the anesthesia didn\'t give you any issues. It will all get easier with time, and maybe you\'ll even feel better.
