Started Metformin and spironlactone almost 2 weeks ago...dull headaches everyday but I will deal with it.  I have lost a few pounds already, I'd say at least 5 as my scale is  not that accurate. When weighed at the Dr. office 2 weeks ago I was at 325 last week weighed again on a dr's scale and it read 315 so I will average that out to 5 pounds. In 2 months I go back to see the dr and at that time if I have maintained or lost weight and sucessfully kept track of my calorie intake he will put me on an appetite suppressent  I have to go in for a sleep study and speak with a behavorial health dr as I don't feel the anti depressant I am on is doing a good enough job. I already feel somewhat better and can tell my outlook has brightened somewhat.
