Hello dear friends, I just couldn't sleep, I need all of you to please say a prayer for my darling mom (68), who was involved in a car collision with a slow riding train this morning. Spent the day and most of the evening with her, along with my family members. Mom has been banged up pretty hard. She has broken ribs, foot, and who knows what else, she will be transported to another hospital early tomorrow morning. As the evening came on, she couldn't move anymore. Like she's not paralysed or anything like that, but we are afraid that she might have crush some vertibrates in her back. She is black and blue everywhere. The poor thing weighes approximately 110lbs, and is soo frail. Oh God I hope she will be ok. We are a very tight family, you should have seen us, we are just like an Italian family, as soon as we heard, we all met to the first hospital she went, we were 14 in there, so you can imagine the staff, they were not very impress, but like I said we are soo close, and soo sensitive to things like this, I am sure that I am not the only one still up at this time.Oh God if something should happen, we would all die. My poor Daddy, I've never seen him cry soo much. Soo soo sad, so please pray, pray hard for my dear mom, and of course Dad who would be lost without her. :(Thank you

I hope your mom is ok. I\'m so sorry. I\'ve heard that the most common accidents happen close to home, less then 3 miles away from home. I\'ll pray for you, mom, and family. Kristin~

Oh my dear Dr. Mckenzie-I\'m so sorry I just read your post while checking up on ya...had no idea (what a horrid thing to have to go through - I\'m so sorry for your Mom and pray she gets better soon. Your family sounds like mine-we fill up entire waiting room and hassel staff when someone is in hospital-hectic but comforting! You are blessed to have such a far thinking father-at least money isn\'t an issue (sounds like they will be well taken care of when home). I worry about you too dear...please take care of YOURSELF as you do them...also sorry to hear about your problems w/brothers...I also have a sister strung out on meth (30 yrs) and as sad as it is I really hate having her at hospital it just stresses everyone out! You and your family are on my nightly prayer list......you are always so THERE for us that I\'m glad we can be here in your time of need dear!
