Why ??
Why do some people just drag things out? My daughter sold her car. I had been covering her insurance and not only did she move out a few months ago she sold the car a couple of weeks ago. Now I want to remove the car from my insurance but the plates need to be turned in. I told her before she even sold it that she would need to turn the plates in before I can remove the insurance. (which doubles my premium, btw). Now all I hear are excuses. I'm tired, I am working and don't feel like coming out there. One excuse after the other.
Why do some people...especially my daughter just put things off??? I put off stuff too. I put off stuff that effects me. I don't put off things that have an impact on someone else. It's called respect. It's called being responsible.

That\'s no good that she won\'t turn the plates in. She is putting it off because it is of no benefit to her to go out of her way if she is not losing money. Perhaps you could ask her to pay her part of the insurance until she turns the plates in.
She actually brought the plates to me last night. Now I can turn them in and know it has been done. Dark, my daughter is complicated. If she EVER did anything I asked it would be a miracle. Looooong story with her. She has her own set of issues and maybe someday she will actually put some serious thought and effort into working through them.
