Wow! I am sooooo glad I joined this site.
I want to thank everyone who sent me an encouraging word. a BIG thank you to you all! I just reduced my dosage of Wellbutrin to 150mg. this morning. I check in with my speacilist next monday and if all goes well I will stop this med. I am still feeling very sick from the Lithium but I am going to hang in there and pray it works for me.
After almost a yr. of trying different meds. and different combonations of meds. my doctor is hoping that the Lithium by itself will work for me. I have noticed this past few days that my mind is not "racing"
with thoughts, it is almost like a calm peacful feeling after a yr. of "rapid racing". That part feels great but there is emotions that are still running loose that I need to get under control.........they're driving me carzy
But........now that I have new friends that understand me I feel that I may just get through this once and for all. I cannot even imagine what life would be like with no yo-yo experiences! I havn't gone any longer than a couple of mnths. without "crashing" and once I went for 15mnths. I haven't been "high" for sooo long I can't remember what it feels like anymore, I don't know what's worse about this bipolar.......the "up" or the "down?"
I have never been in the middle before so if my meds start working for me I will probably have alot to share. I will have to learn to live with an "normal" self which may take a little getting used to.
Once again thank you all for responding to me and have a great day. Love and Prayers Ramona oxox

Sweetie I am so glad to hear your positive thoughts about your treatment. The goal is to be balanced. I have been there a few times and I love it. I always love the hypomanic state but I know it wont end well. This time of year I get very depressed, I crash. I have a new outlook and I pray this will be my good year for depression. You are a special friend and very uplifting. Keep your focus positive, it is a powerful medicine for the brain. Great big hugs for your weekend. (((((HUGS))))) Shelly
Middle is good, very good indeed. I held it for 6 months and then ignored what triggers me and flew up, up, up. I\'ll take mania any day over depression.
I am glad the Lithium is working for you.
