I NEED ADVICE!!!!! Ok so much has transpired since I have been on here.  Frankly I am so lost and twisted and all in these tight purple knots all in my stomach! Where to start.... let's see. PROBLEM So Grad school starts Saturday.  I have learned some important things this week.  1. The dean of students still has not reviewed my teaching portfolio that I gave her Nov 1st and she said she would review.  I have called or emailed every two weeks with the reply that I should contat her in two weeks and she will have it done.  2. Classes are not just on Saturday as I was told originally but instead in May June July and August they are every saturday plus every friday and some thursdays.  3. it does not cost 11k but instead 15k.  4. the dean of students is a bitch! She called me a name and when I had an appointment met 2 minutes with her coat on and then cutt me short and went to lunch! 5. I will make 7-10k more a year with a masters degree then if I only had a bachelors as a teacher. 6.If I want to teach (which was my plan originally starting this September) I will have to pay the grad program 1200 per semester in order to teach and I will have to have a mentor and on my saturdays off I would need to go to a special seminar in order to teach without a license while going to school.  I've been panicy about this for the last 2 weeks and then this monday found out about the summer being thurs fri and sat for 3.5 months straight and I freaked!  I was apprehensive before and now I'm plain sure that I can't pull it off and work full time.  So of course at first I thought I would quit the program.  But now I'm thinking.... and this is where the ADVICE NEEDED! So my response to all of this is *(or plan I guess i've only had 1/2 hour to think about all of this and make my plan so it probably has some errors)  IS ... work until May which is when the ridiculous schedule hits.  In the meantime find a part time job and some insurance (this is what I need help with) Go on my vacation and use my sick time up and then when it is all gone and school is ramping up quit my full time job and go to school full time.  I think I've got the budget ironed out for this but the insurance is the hardest part about it.  I will need some kind of good part time job too though... what do you all think?
