I booked my little vacation. One that I can afford because the hotel is paying for the room.  I suppose they are really slow if they're giving rooms away. Either way it is good that I have some time away form work so I can go do this and use the time in Black Hawk to relax, read and do some much awaited homework to boost my grades in classes. I met with my instructors last week and they really helped me and laid out everything that needs to be done, and how I can improve my grade to a passing grade or higher. Thankfully, I have not dug myself too deep this semester. 
 
Rachael is getting on my back now. Last night when I texted her and told her about Black Hawk she told me that she was going to this grand opening thing and then she invite me and is now putting a guilt trip on me. But, I am really needing to get away. My mom leaves on Tuesday, but I would love to go to the buffet and some gambling and wine and what not! It will be fun! I hope Rachael is not taking this road again. She is going to loose friends if she does, that is certain. 
 
I am going to the Ameristar Casino in Black Hawk, Colorado. They are to have the best buffet, with great seafood on Fridays. I can't wait to dive in to that. There is also a great pool and hottub. They are both on the roof and the hot tube is outside and exposed. 
 
Later tonight I have to go to the hospital to volunteer at 8pm I am looking forward to it but I hate having the entire day and then going to work for three or four hours until midnight. Then tomorrow I have to be back at the hospital for a doctor's appointment at 9am. Then I am off to my mountain vacation. I don't really like being scheduled in the white zone. It is for less emergency patients and it gets a bit slow in there sometimes and I am not sure if they need me all night. I guess I shouldn't be complaining, it is a good position and I am glad to have it.
