Today
Well, I was busy yesterday and didn't get a chance to do any journaling. Today I woke from such a fantastic dream. Couldn't remember it 5 minutes after I woke up, but I was in such a good mood. I grabbed my cup of coffee, and just enjoyed for once being in a good mood. I even gave the boys a double snack in their lunches. So then yes, the phone rings and I see it's my dad (smokaholic) on the caller I.D. Well, I answered it and as usual I could just hear him taking a drag after drag from his cigarette. Oh, but I held strong and just listened to him as he rambled on about something. Then we started talking about the cost of things now a days. This is when I brought it up.........I finally told him that I stopped smoking because it just costs too much. He thought I was joking! He said that he didn't believe me.
Now, when I tell people on here that I was a bad smoker and that there was no way in the world I ever thought I could stop, well the people that even know me the best find it impossible. I mean everyone knows me as such a chain smoker, plus with my horrible anxiety. No one in the world would ever guess that I actually could go a day much less an hour without a cigarette. Well, because my father was in such disbelief, he did not say anything positive. In fact, he changed the subject altogether. That made me sad, but that's also lwhen I knew I shouldn't have even said anything. Oh well, that was that.
I did jog today, and I almost made it all the way through my whole route without stopping and walking. Damn. I almost had it. But I had such a bad cramp in my lower calf that I had to walk it off. But wow, what a great jog, even the dog was breathing pretty heavily.
Well, that's all for now!
