Thank goodness the holidays are over.  I don't remember being so busy in the past.  I haven't been on this site for a while and I think I know why.  They say time heals pain, and I think it truly does.  My medications have been working great, and the stress is still the same, but my anger and guilt issues seem to be fading.  So much so that I haven't really had a panic attack in a while.  I don't want to jinx myself here, so I won't say much more about that.   Christmas eve was just that, nothing special.  Me and the family went and visited other family and had a nice time.  Christmas day, the children were spoiled of course and we spent the day at home all in our pajamas just lounging around.  Sometimes it's nice not to have any place to go.  The last week of Christmas break for the kids was busy working on Science projects and making sure they were complete.   New Years Eve again, nothing special.  I went to bed early because well, I don't drink, so what's the point of celebrating a holiday that revolves around getting plastered.  Then it was over in a flash and we are now back on schedule. I have to admit I was a bit spoiled this Christmas, with a new laptop, camera, pots & pans and every other thing that I bitch about during the year that I don't have.  It used to be so annoying writting in my journal or sending e-mails with a broken "a" key and a broken "w" key.   You have no idea how many times you use those keys until they are broken. My old laptop was so slow and old, I think I may have to donate it to a museum.  My camera......well let's just say it never did take the pictures right especially after my husband dropped it and still to this day won't admit it.  The pots and pans are great because I believe most of the teflon had worn off of the old ones.  I keep wondering how much of that we consumed (isn't that scarry).  Oh, and how can I forget my newest addition of the family....Chewie.  Can you only guess why we named him that.   The only sad news is my oldest dog.  He is very sick and might not make it through the year.  His medication has now been doubled and so has the cost of it.  However, if in six months he hasn't improved we might discuss putting him out of his misery.  But I won't talk about that until the time comes.   My New Years resolution is to not take anyone's shit anymore.  If they can dish it out, then they better be able to have it dished right back at them.  If something is bothering me, then I will confront it.  I will say what is on my mind, even if it may hurt a few feelings.  I will not take on peoples problems (except for my children) or worry about what people think of me. If you don't like me, then don't talk to me or ask me for any favors, or my opinion.  I am through with being pushed around, stomped on, put down, and being talked to in a condesending manner.  That should do it for now, unless I can think of anything else I would like to accomplish.   ........well, nothing more to say.
