I'm down 3 lbs this morning from 4 days ago, so that's a good sign. I know that's a good amount to lose, but I can't help being a little disappointed when the scale doesn't make a huge jump like 7 or 9 lbs at once. I'm going to try to weigh only once a week from now on. It's really hard, but I think it's too destructive to weigh too often. I think weekly is enough to know if I'm staying on track or not, but not too much that I will keep obsessing on it.Last night I did 120 steps on the treadmill and just now I did 125.(barely). My endurance ont the treadmill is slowing down too, but as long as I keep doing the 120 and then another set of at least 50 I think that will be good until my strength builds up enough to do more. I am adding weights to my exercise plan. I just use 5 lbs. on each arm to start and do it everyother day because I've been told your muscles need to rest.Plan for the day- banana and granola bar for breakfast. already did the treadmill. go to church and run some errands. lite lunch, granola bar for snack, and left over chicken and rice for dinner. Lift weights this evening. Btw, if anyone has some advice on how best to incorporate weights, I'd love to hear it. As I said I just use hand weights for now for upper arm strength.Hope you all have a wonderful day.



Wow sugar, 5 lbs is a lot to start with. I\'d go down to 2 lbs, with more reps. Your food plan doesn\'t seem to include much protein, unless you are still drinking shakes. Be sure to get enough. Good for you on the treadmill!
