3 months on from surgery

Well yesterday was the 3 months to the date that I had my surgery. It's been a long tough 3 months in that I had to quit smoking before surgery, (smoked for 40 years)  my mum passed away a week before surgery and all the stuff that goes with having surgery.  Plus there has been buckets and buckets of tears over things not going as smoothly as I had hoped.Saw my surgeon yesterday and he was pleased with how I'm doing, told him I only have a little nausea (now & then). Told him putting the patch behind my ear helps a lot. He wants to do a PET Scan on me in 3 months and that's when I start seeing all the other doctors. The oncologist and GI Specialist. Still get extremely tired mentally but mostly physically and by the end of the work day I am whooped and look forward to going to bed.  Makes me sound like a real granma lol. I try to stay positive every day but some days are a little harder to put a smile on the face. I do miss my family though and it has been a real struggle handling this all by myself in as much there is no-one at home to complain to after work. I am finally starting to see that there is light at the end of the tunnel  :)
