3 Months
I still cannot believe Ron is gone! Been 3 months today and I am still expecting to go into his bedroom and find him there. Every week I have a goal of disposing of something. I plan to stay in the house but someday I will have to move and I imagine I will be older. I don't want it to be stressful. Bless him he was a mechanic/electrician and had three sheds full of every kind of wire and car part possible. I had a good laugh going through everything. Why he kept it all I will never know but it was his passion. My Brother , our son and friends have told me one shed is full of parts that are not worth selling. In fact some have open wires and could be dangerous if used. So the one shed is easy to clean out. Recycle and garbage. Friends and family said he knew he wasn't long on this earth. I think I knew as well because I did tell him how smart I thought he was and that I loved him so much. I am so glad I did! Two months before he died he took me and bought me a new car. I didn't want it as I was quite happy with the car I had but he gently told me I should have a new one and I would not have to worry about maintaining it. My last gift. I guess like everyone , I can only hope he really knew I really did love him and he was my passion. I just wish I could have one more hug from him. Thanks for listening and letting me vent. Hugs and love, Diane

Dear Diane, I have the same feeling sometimes that my Yan is still around. My sense tells me that. I am pretty sure that Ron always knew how much you loved him and he loved you. I am glad that you are so strong and positive. People told me that, over time, we are going to see our loved ones smiling at us while we try to move forward with our lives. That smile is a gift. So the car is not the last gift from Ron. There are many more to come from Ron for you and from Yan for me....Hugs, Tiger
Diane,
I would have to agree with Tiger on this one. The car was not his last gift and further add that Love is a gift that never ends. You were blessed to have had each other and the time you had on this earth together. I know you are hurting. It\'s such a painful journey. I\'m so sorry for your loss. Hugs, Dayna
