A rough day. Up and down. have not been able to get my butt to work all week, so went to dr today to get an excuse to take with me next week. Plus, to talk about meds. She wanted to put me in the hospital and I told her no. We go trough that dialogue every now and then. Talked about meds. Instead of taking seraquel just at night, she wants me to take it 2x daily. Hoping that doesnt put me to sleep at work.
Also wants me to see a psychiatrist so my meds can be monitored better. Some group from the hospital, yes we only have one in this town, is supposed to call me. She told me to go today and get a cat or another dog, since I had to give Ginger to Rick because of the barking. Checking in to that.
Rick took Ginger to groomer today. Said she is happy and doing well. Doesn't surprise me. I knew she would be fine. Told me he plans to retire in 1.5 years, which is when the bankruptcy will be over and he will be 60. I didnt understand how he could afford to do that, but he said he's going to have his own business. So, deja vu all over again. He didnt say what kind of business so I dont know. Could be the stuff he's been doing with his friend.
He's been wanting to have his own business forever, but I wouldnt go along with it because the revenue is so uncertain. Guess #4 doesnt mind. Then again, she has not been through this with him before and I have. More than once.
For some reason, he asked if I was thinking of moving and I said no. He said he had thought about it, which surprised me because of the house, his job, etc. Then he said he thought about moving after he retires, which brought up THAT conversation. We got married in 1997 and until we moved here in 2001 he was constantly changing jobs and we were always moving. LOTS. When he got his current job and we moved in to the house, I thought he had finally settled down. If, at 60, he really does retire and/or move...I guess I was mistaken. Deja Vu, indeed.

Sounds like he will never settle down..............jobwise, housewise and maybe even wifewise? He sounds very much like the proverbial rolling stone, and may one day move on from wife #4 onto the next one. Always thinking the grass is greener on the other side of the hill.
Definitely must have felt like Deja vu hearing him say that. As sad as you may feel, at least you don\'t have to put up with that again.

Good luck in finding yourself another wonderful 4 legged companion!!

exactly. Grass is always greener weather it\'s a job, a place to live, or a woman. I think that is part of what bothered me. I felt I got him through all of that and finally settled with his \"perfect\" job and she was going to reap the benefits. i dont know. may have a line on a dog...will see.
