My Husband has informed me as of last night that he is filing for divorce and moving out all b4 the baby is due in 4 weeks.. this is not at all how i pictured my life to go.. i have stood by him in the military and through our entire lives growing up since the age of 13 when we started dating.. How do I turn off my feelings toward such a heartless person? maybe then it won't hurt so bad that he is doing this to me (or us).. my biggest fear is that he is going to try and take her away from me just to hurt me more.. i don't know what to do I can hardly afford my bills as it is and now i have to try and survive on short term disability (don't qualify for maternity leave at work).. and then afford daycare after just so i can go back to work to try and support us.. This is like a complete nightmare...

I am so sorry to hear this friend! *HUG!! A couple of things came to my mind as I read this: Have you contacted JAG? You are eligable to receive benefits. Has your soldier been looked at for PTSD? If it\'s possible you may want to contact your FRG leader so she/he can contact your hubbys commander to check on how well and sound he truly is right now. The worst hits not right when the guys come home, the worst hits around the two month at home mark. (thats when my hubbys job kicks into high gear for house calls in the middle of the night) I can tell you right now no judge in their right mind is going to award custody of a brand new infant to a father/soldier unless you are a crack whore working street corners (and even then I have seen some fathers STILL not get custody of their child crazy mom and all)
I am thinking of you and I am praying for your situation friend. *HUG!!!
Thinking of you, Ihave no idea what I would do in this situation but I do know, you are a mummy now, and a mummy who would sacrifice anything to have your baby, so god knows you will move mountains to provide for her, you will find a way and you will never be sorry you have her, so hold that close to you right now, cling to it and use it to keep you afloat. Also tnt\'s comments about PTSD may be worth considering too
Thank you all so very much for your support it really means a lot to me.. about JAG it only works if he\'s still in the service.. he has been out since March.. and you can only help someone so much.. I will be ok especially once I hold her in my arms she is my whole world now... i appreciate all of u
