Baby steps...
Lord, I'm grieving. Help me grieve in my way and my time, but with Your wisdom. Amen.
Set a goal #! for myself today, and that is to eat, you see I've lost 40 pounds since the loss of my son, not good... MY husband had no idea I wasn't eating.
Goal #2, I opened the blinds and windows as it's going to be 60 degrees here today, to let the sunshine in and hopefully I can enjoy it too. I know my 2 little Shih tzu's are enjoying it. I guess they miss their Mommy...

Oh, so wonderful to let the sun shine in! I, too, quit eating after my son, Michael, died. I mean (and I am sure you know what I mean), I ate enough to stay alive obviously. I lost so much weight and was working a lot of hours and it came to the point where I felt weak one day at work and knew....I had to start to eat again. So, I did it by little bits at a time. So, best wishes on your goal #1. I had to do things like eat 1/2 of a granola bar, then later, the other half. Maybe a banana here and there. I literally forced myself. Try some of those Ensure drinks. i did that for a little while. LIttle bits at a time worked for me and to this day, I still find that I cannot eat much at one sitting, but eat throughout the day. It is great that you are setting goals. Hugs, Belinda
both your goals are great,,,, kudos to you for these baby steps!! love ya!
The sunshine was nice today, the pups and I enjoyed it. Eating is still a work in progress. I did want an egg and piece of toast and glass of milk. But it was tough... Not sure when I will be hungry again?
