It's been exactly 8 weeks since my surgery. I'm doing a lot better in terms of my weight, I've lost a total of 42.76 lbs in these 8 weeks. The surgery alone wasn't the main reason I lost the weight. I've been also going to the gym almost everyday and excersising for 1.5 hrs then a 1/2 hr swim and I'm on a diet as well... No carbs, no food after 7 pm (even though I don't sleep until 3 or 4 am) and I eat 4-5 really small meals. No sweats or anything fried and I try to eat as much vegis as I can.
Like I mentioned last time, losing weight didn't ease the depression. I know it's not an over night thing, but it has been almost 2 months and I still feel the exact same way I felt before the surgery. Alone, depressed, a failure, fat,and ugly! I hate the way I feel, and I want to make it stop, I just haven't really figured out the how part yet...

Take it one day at a time, sweetie. I have been there with the depression, the cutting, and all of the feelings you have. I still have them sometimes. I know I will never truly heal, but I also know what I gain each day that I overcome those feelings. You are not alone. It is a process, but you never have to be alone! I know I haven\'t been on here that much, for personal reasons, but I am here for you. I know how it feels, and I never want you to feel alone! Just breathe and take it step by step, and know that there are people who care about you and what happens to you.
