After months of time ticking slowly by, the days seem to be racing. Still watching too much television. I am in a pretty good place these days. I find that i am okay with my own company. My kids are keeping me busy. I do feel my life is in limbo. I am neither looking back nor looking forward. Reading this, i see a jumble of thoughts. That is how i feel these days just a jumble.
Last year at this time Larry and i were in England. We did all of Great Britain in the month of September. He came home with what he thought was the flu. He was gone Jan. 13. It seems so long ago. I sure would love those days back...

Oh Patti, how I can relate. Just one day at a time is all we can do. Time seems to stand still yet race. I never thought I would make it this far, and I hate to look too far into the future. I know we can\'t live in the past, but I do keep those wonderful memories deep in my heart. I guess each day we continue to live is one day closer to being reunited. Here\'s hoping we have much joy and happiness as we move forward. Hugs, Michele
Dear Patti, I am glad you have better days. These are the times you have earned through working hard on your grief, and coming here to share your grief with others and helping others. Thank you! Hugs, tiger
Patti . . . what a wonderful memory . . . a month in the UK! Fantastic. So sorry for the loss of your Larry. It\'s kind of bizarre . . that J thought he had the flu also, about four months before he passed. It\'s all so surreal. Jumbled thoughts and emotions . . describes much of the grief journey. However, it does sound like you are finding some healing and peace now. My thoughts are with you. xo, D
That is a great memory. I keep reliving our last day together and think if there was something I could have done. We have our wonderful memories and we have to hold on to those. Hugs.
