The Weekend
It is 3.30pm on Sunday, the weekend is nearly over and it has been a good one. I made two new girlfriends online and had surprise phone calls from two other friends who wanted to make sure I as ok.
This morning I went with my son to see the house by the beach that is for sale. The expected price at Auction is about 100k over my stretch budget. But if I am meant to get the house, then I will. This week I will go see my banking officer and explore the possibilities of making an offer post Auction if it does not sell. The mortgage payments are a bit steep at 2k a month, but not outside the realms of possibility. The other great thing about the place is it has space on the ground floor to create another flat to rent out in the same manner as the one I have just had built. With extra income from something like that, I can definitely make it work.
My son is watching movies, and I have spent the last hour or so looking at things to do over the course of the week when I don't have him. Tomorrow night, I am planning to go to Yoga. On Wednesday, I am going to another talk at the Organic Produce Shop I visited last week. Then on Friday, I am hoping to attend a meetup with a group of vegetarians. A couple of the attendees I already know from other groups I have attended, so it won't be too difficult.
My life is falling into place. So many things to celebrate under these new circumstances. I needed the experience of loving someone who didn't share my hopes and dreams to know how important to me. And the find the belief within myself to achieve those dreams.....
