Day 17

A beautiful day in our lovely city. We packed up the car and spent the day at the beach. My son wanted to play with a brother and sister already playing in the sand, but they didn't want him. He tried to play alongside them, but they simply weren't interested. Very sad. But we had a good time nonetheless. Lovely jewel coloured sea. Bright sunshine.
The pool is looking nice and clean. Need some chemicals to balance it out and then we are ready to go.
My mum rang up to say they are visiting tomorrow. The tree is up, the house is more or less clean and I only need to run to the shops in the morning to stock up on a few goodies. We are otherwise good to go.

Getting easier and easier to deal with the loss. I no longer remember what it was like to text him a few times a day. I still think of him, but joining this group has been a blessing. I can see him clearly for what he is and that helps heaps.
