Day 14
Two weeks since i joined this group and three since I broke up. And I am plunged into sadeness again because he chose to give me my Christmas Present, a Love Story signed by the American Author he had picked up at the Book Fair for me back in October. I had to ask if he meant something by the gesture and he said no.
I know I would have regretted not asking, but the sadness of a second rejection is very hard. I said my goodbyes and deleted emails and photos and threw away the printed ones I had done for him as a present. I don't even thing I want him back, but saying nothing has changed is very hard to take. He offered to unsubscribe from my blog and I said yes. I don't think I can bear the pain of knowing we are still connected.
I chose not to tell him about my plans for next year. I reached out to my friend who had spent the morning with me and know somehow I will find the strength to get through tonight. I have to.
