o man , I think if you need to spend a few months there , you\'ll be ok
Hey buddy. I have to ask this. Were you just back from a tour or are you having ptsd from vietnam? You need to really talk about things and get them off your chest. That is the problem with ptsd and the military. You are formed to be strong and made to be a killin\' machine but the one thing boot or nothing else teaches is how to deal with the after affect (ptsd) Your brought up as a boy to a man not to show emotion and feelings. So when you go through the trama of war you really dont know where to turn or how to cope. But talkin\' helps. Get it off your chest and cry about it. Cry your heart out. That is the only way. No one else will ever truly understand how you feel or what your goin\' through unless they have been there. But you can help them to see and help them to understand by opening up and telling them your experiences. A) It will make you feel a lot better. B) it will allow them to not be so biast to military about ptsd and allow them the idea of what troops really go through. Try it. I understand it is hard and I know that a lot of times you may think that there are things they really dont want to know about but all that aside wether someone wants to hear it or not you have to get it out. I am prayin\' for you right now and if you need me I am on here for a bit.
Hey
I have not written to you in awhile but I am conserned for your well being. I am so sorry you are in such a turmoil but you need to do whatever it takes to rid yourself of this horrible war experience. You are a young man and have a life to live with peace in your heart. Handling traumas on your own is so very difficult and a human being needs support of other human beings that understand. You were spared your life during Nam because you have a purpose in this life to fulfill. Good luck my friend and please be well and get some help.
My prayers and thoughts will be with you.
Hugs
Marsha
Do what you have to do to get yourself better. I\'m so sorry you\'re suffering like this. Take good care. Thinking of you and wishing you the very best. - Catherine
honey you must look after yourself and if you go into hospital we will still be here waiting for you ...prayers on their way ...glitter hugs ...xxxxxxxxxx
I\'m so glad that you\'re getting the help that you need. You have suffered so much for a long time. Wishing you the best and sending prayers...
Please don\'t hurt yourself, hang in there. As far as not wanting to leave the house, I\'m right there with you. I get so anxious, that i have to load up on meds, just to pick my child up from school. The hospital will do you good, I like it there, no stress, you can hang out and read all day, or what ever. Last time I was in the nut house I did yoga for hours and hours, it was wonderful. Promise, promise me you won\'t kill yourself. I hate myself too, but I know what suicide does, it\'s a quick fix to a problem, and it kills so many other people. Remember I came to you insearch for understanding of my father\'s suicide- who was also in vietnam.
God bless you...sending you love.
Do what you need to do to get yourself in a better place. No one would expect you to do anything else BUT that.
Thinking of you. I understand what you are going through. My vet has been working way too much and is so fatigued that he has been doing PTSD things that he has not done in a long time. One of the guys dropped something in the shop and it made such a loud bang that he ran to the corner and sat down covering his head. He said it sounded like a gun shot and the bullet that got him. He had a gut wound at 19 and was left for dead while the other wounded were stablized. Idahocowboy is right, both of you need to be able to release all the horror. Remember that you are forgiven and now need deliverence from the horrors of war.
A man who has as many kind, caring friends as you have, may want to review his self assesment.
Even when you are down and you think you are not doing well, lots and lots of people think you are just a sweetie.
Try it. This is a new kind of treatment.
Try it. Give it a chance.
We will be here waiting for you.
GET SOME HELP
we love you and care about you but you need to help yourself.. talk about it, go for treatment, but get out of that apt and take good care!!
