My little sister is driving me batty! I don't understand why some people just can't grow and evolve with their responsibilities instead of shying away from them. She is going to be 23 in November, and she is acting like a child.

Today I got up at 730am as usual, because she drops off Julian at like 731am and I like to sleep in until the last possible minute lol. She doesn't show up, she doesn't text, call, doesn't even facebook me! Finally at noon I text her and ask and she says Julian is sick so she didn't bring him. Ummm, thanks for the heads up. I could of slept until 9 or 10 like my daughter does!
Then I go out with my mum and neice to do some running around. We went to Walmart together and such. And my mum is telling me about how my little sister can see the treads in her tires but she can't afford new ones. So my mum is trying to bounce around her bills for this week so she can spot her the money to get retreaded tires at a local place.
So I ask my mum 'did she tell you about her hair?' and my mum goes 'no, what about her hair?' to which I say 'she spent $90 last night getting it dyed pink and brown professionally'. And of course, while telling my mother that her tires are barren and unsafe and she doesn't want to drive her car like that with her son in the back, she neglected to mention that simple fact.
Thank god I caught mum before she gave her the $60 it would of cost for two new tires. I was furious she would try and con our mom out of her hard earned money because she stupidly spent hers.
And tomorrow I bet she goes on and on about how she looooves her hair and how bald her tires are. I'm going to have to say something. Today there were a bunch of people commenting on how great her hair looked on a pic she posted. So I posted 'did you get new tires today?'. No response.
And she has ANOTHER boyfriend. She is jumping from guy to guy and she brings them home and that also infuriates me. If she wants to sleep around that's her deal, but she is exposing her 2 year old son to a parade of men that just dart in and out. And I know, he isn't my son, but he is my nephew, and I do feel protective of him.
Aaaaaannnd, yes, another and lol she is at the starts of a custody battle with Julian's dad. Does she think none of this is going to come up? And if Julian goes with his dad, I can say bye bye to him. Because he will not let my family see him without legal permission.

On the plus side, because if I don't add one I feel like a whiney ungrateful beast, Marlow is having a strong start to serious potty training. I bought some kushie training pants. They are cloth with a plastic outside. Yesterday she peed in it, she only wears one right now from after nap til after supper, so about 3 to 4 hours, and she didn't like the feeling. She was walking bow legged around the house lol.
So today I put it on and about 20 minutes later she comes and stands in front of me and stares at me. I ask 'do you have to go potty?' she says no. A few minutes later she hasn't moved, so I ask again, and again she says no. Then she again doesn't move. So I say 'Marlow, do you have to go pee?' and she goes 'yeesssss mommy, Marlow does have to go pee, not go potty!' So we rush off to the potty and she goes! Yay! She did poop in the pants right before it was time for them to come off. But the fact that on the second day she told me, sort of, that she had to use the can seems like a good sign to me!
This weekend we are switching to a toddler bed. I will spend hours Marlow proofing her dresser, I'll use duct tape if need be! But she is going into a toddler bed!
