I've come to a realization. When I was younger, I wanted to experience sex, sure; but there was no way I was going to act on it before marriage. I didn't see doing it as a reality. So, when I explained my wish to wait to people... and they (almost invariably) felt differently... it didn't bother me as much, because I was grounded in my preference. But now... Now, I'm sad to say, I'm more open to the possibility. Not of doing everything... per se... but of fooling around. So, when I hear that other people have done it, I get really jealous. Is it hormones?Age?Anger?I don't know. But I definitely have a desire to explore....Which conflicts with my great wish to wait for the right person :-(.Sigh...

Thats tough. Having your faith be tested is normal though. Most people who have faith do go through it. Have you thought about non sexual touch? I don\'t know if that would help or make it worse. Sometimes a hug can feel really good (even to someone like me with personal space issues.)

I think it\'s great you are exploring all of these feelings. It\'s natural to wonder, especially when \"everyone\" else treats it so casually. The woman you end up with is going to be extremely extremely lucky to have you.

Thank you, guys :-).

Hmmm.... I actually have a problem with hugging a girl. Because for some girls, it\'s just like, yeah, okay... this is casual, but it doesn\'t MEAN anything to me romantically. Whereas if I\'m going to hug a girl, it\'s because I have deeper feelings for her.
A hug for a girl is special for me.

Thank you.
I actually feel sad hearing that. Because I do think I have something wonderful and beautiful inside, and I want to believe that the right girl would greatly appreciate it. But I do not know if it will come out and be received by someone in the end.
Will it just wither away and die? :-(

I hope not....

Don\'t feel sad about hearing that. The right person WILL come into your life and appreciate it. As far as hugging, I find hugging extremely important in my life. I want to hug my friends, and people I love (and at one point were interested in). Hugging doesn\'t HAVE to mean you are only interested in her for more. If someone goes in to hug you, take it as a complement. Don\'t get me wrong, I am not a random hugger... but if I \"like\" as in platonically like someone, I will hug them. Or saying goodbye after meeting someone, if I have an amazing connection with them, I will feel like I need to hug them to deepen the connection. I don\'t know... maybe I am the only one who feels like that, but hugging is another important form of affection for me.
