Well, I start school on Monday. I'm not really nervous, I'm just upset that I'm going to be without my little Gabby for so long. But at the same time it will be a good break for both of us. I know she'll have alot of fun with the sitter... she'll probably get more attention from her than what I give her! haha... We're planning on going to Vancouver (300 miles away from us) early this summer/spring with my best friend and her family. Her daughter is 18 mos old right now and will have a blast. We are going to buy them matching outfits and take them to the Aquarium to see the beluga whales. When I was prego with my son, my hubby and I went to the Aquarium to see the same beluga whales. It was sooo pretty and symbolic. I felt like I knew I was going to lose him, but he was going to be free and full in spirit like the whales. I had kind of an emotional connection to the whales...it kind of bonded me and my son, so I would really like Gabby to be a part of that too. Anyways, it's going to be sooo much fun. I really hope everyone out there who has lost a baby, or is going to lose a baby gets to have that "special time" and connection with that baby. It's sooo tough to have to go through this tragedy, but it helps to know that you shared something in common. Whenever I get emotional about my babies, I just try to imagine what they're doing... I always think that they're sitting next to eachtother building mud pies and throwing mud at eacother having sooo much fun...too much fun to even have the time to think about me...which is what makes me feel better...that they're too busy having fun to be sad.
