so far everything is going great! she's learning to stay asleep during the night for 3-4 hour periods (which is great!!!)I've noticed she's becoming more aware of her surroundings! She'll look around at people's faces and raise her eyebrows at us! it's soooo sweet! Her daddy loves taking pics of her and showing her off to everyone! We are soo happy to finally have our baby here! I have been having one problem though....I'm breastfeeding her, so i'm giving her those vitamin D drops, but every time i give it to her, she throws up! not just once either...a couple of times1 i usually give it to her after a feeding or just before, maybe thats why, but i dont know...any suggestions?

Babies don\'t even need vitamin D drops if they are outside for at least 30 minutes a day. They don\'t have to be in direct sunlight either so you don\'t have to worry about her getting a sunburn or using sunscreen. Not only that the fresh air is good for her.
Yeah, I agree with Amber..86 the drops..they really dont need it. your breastmilk alone is all she really needs to be healthy.

From my understanding the vitamin D doesnt need to be given while breastfeeding. I would maybe hold off on those if she is spitting up. I am glad to hear that she is sleeping so well for you!!!!
I\'m glad to hear that everything is going well! I never used the vitamin D drops when I breastfeed Little Vince. I would check with your doctor, but I agree that she probably doesn\'t need them.
Babies absolutely don\'t need the drops if they are being breastfed! I never gave Elijah those drops because my doctor said they weren\'t necessary at all. If she is getting sick from them, then maybe reconsider using them. She is absolutely gorgeous! I mean, what a beautiful little thing! You sound like you are doing a great job, and good for you to breastfeed!
