Well, I got through the colonoscopy. My colon had spasms so I awakened. I just did the breathing thing but never went out of consciousness again. It was not too bad. A root canal on a hot tooth is worse (I know this from expereince). So, nothing terrible to know other than the IBS, which was doing part of its thing by cramping. So, with a med change and change to some of the foods I prepare, things seem reasonable for better management. I am still losing weight a little at a time. Not bad. So, now, there is finally insentive to go for it... like work out. Perhaps I was just concerned about my guts and the emotion stood between what I wanted to do and what I would take on.This is a habit. Safe guarding my life. And the chills of relief that still run through my body today tell me how worried I have been. My grandmother died from colonic cancer. And then, my having an ulcer from age 8 and constant trouble with IBS from age 12 just came together to pen me into a world of existing. I have also watched people who have these kinds of health problems lose their perspective in the situation and become consumed by health, mind, soul, and body function or not. All gets pushed into one space with no slack for moving from the stress of the management stretegy (or lack of).  People don;t begin wanting this kind of life, but it happens. A lot. So, to move on from my confines; treadmill in the morning. Each step moves me away from the do nothing and in the direction of something. Whatever it may be with a healthy goal in sight.
