Good Morning, It is so fresh and cool this a.m. in Indiana. After a month or more at 90 and up, temps went to around 60 over night. Welcome change since we have had no rain. Everything else has. This is the time of year when days can be 90 and nights are 40. It makes painting a house (outdoors) awful. For me it did until low temp paints came along. I was "retired" from this business by this time. I had a change in work schedule. From gettting up at 4AM to working evenings until 11:30PM. It can really make a person feel draggy. And all the other things in life pile up like laundry and etc..So, I MUST make myself keep up with the pace. With the schedule changes> my temperment had a melt down. I was so childish over something so rediculous. And once my mouth opened I felt like a spectator in my own life. Just watching the words fly out. You know the song McArthur's Park ("Someone left the cake out in the rain"). Never understood how this felt until NOW (I am laughing). Things have passed and I am glad for this. Sleep helped. And talking about it with the recipient (the one I yelled at) helped too. Maybe it is better to get crabby over small stuff to learn how to handle bigger things?? Anyone have a take on this?? Or will this lead to quicker reaction, to bad temper?? I do have one of those and to this day think it is my worst trait. Mostly that it is connected to my mouth and lack of intellect when it occurs (please smile). Hmmm, sounds impulsive. So, how does one control impulse re anger management?? I really would like an answer to this one.Well, Happy Labor Day. I am off to work and glad for that.Cheers~

Well........Peaceful.....coming from someone, (me) who had impule control re: to my Bipolar Disorder & just realized in more recent yrs: Asperger Syndrome. Bothof which tends to make it more difficult to put a halt on my words.....Since I have been on the combo of meds tht Im on though, I find my control is so much better! I still get the impulses to want to go off at times, but its way easier to curb myself. I honestly dont know how one w/out meds or A dx, doe sit well?! Lots of books outthere. but id have to say its therapy, support. & practice! Journal writing helps a bit too. If you are able to remove yourself from the situation and the person before you blurt out an GO off!! that to takes practice! Lack of sleep isnt wise if you have these issues! :) Just out of curiosity, have you looked into any kind of possible DX? that may be contrbuitng to yout \"temper\" as you call it? Like a psych dr? or a therapist? I wish I could be more help!! Love the sound of the weather changing! Here in Calif, we are having a late summer and the nights are not cooling as id like!
Blessings, take care & hang in there! :) Jess
