No, I did not have the camera when the deer and baby came by. Why is that?? I either have a camera and nothing too exciting to catch or no camera and wonders of nature strolling with Marlin Perkins and Mutual of Omaha!! (use to be on TV for those of use old enough to know...) smiley-smile.gif

Well, I have been jotting down things on this site more regularly and can say there is better self talk in my head. I believe journaling is suppose to be a way to be more constructive with letting stressors out. I really think it helps. I also feel less alone than when writing in a book no one sees. Even if no one really reads these journals the potential is there. That point works and I enjoy what comments some make. I hope other people find this benefit too.

Off to make Hypertufa pottery with my garden club. It is a really neat idea for garden containers.

 Cheers

LOL, Hey! I\'m not (thinking I\'m) old but I very much remember the nature show with Marlin Perkins. Yikes! Now I watch the PBS shows. Where did TV take a wrong turn with all those stupid \'reality shows\', no offence to those who don\'t like to get educated. Ok, so just plain mindless entertainment is alright too, sorry.
This last weekend the same thing happened to me, I left the house without my camera, thinking I wouldn\'t be anywhere I\'d need it, and sure enough ... famous last words \"I wish I had a camera!\"
No, I hadn\'t heard of Hypertufa pottery, unless I\'m not pronouncing it correctly in my mind. Will have to check it out. A friend of mine was making vases for her Ikebana flower arangements though.
About small towns ... later for that, haha.
Nice to hear you are getting some good out of the journaling.
