Well, there have been better days of anger management than yesterday , and of course today (as being "out of sorts" does not just go away over night).I was putting out a garden with a neighbor. Another neighbor came along drunk and rained on the parade. Loud, mouthy, and just something I have zero patients with. I offered to tell him to leave but my friend said it would not do any good, lit a cig and opened a beer. I just said see ya. I have other space for my plants on my land. It was just going to be nice having help with watering, weeding, and someone who liked fresh veggies too. There seems to be something so delicious about garden fresh food. Ah, I can't wait to have some. The situation is not really bothering me today as much as thinking about my reaction. How mad I felt yesterday and to what degree. I can hear myself saying it is not worth getting involved in and you're lucky to have only tilled the ground thus far (I started or bought all the plants). Another voice keeps chewing at me about how I get involved with this kind of thing and that it never works when there is booze around...and negative blah blah. SIGH. That kind of thinking drives me nuts! So, what I did about this negative thinking was to clean house while my head was rambling all this crap. Now, I am making myself write it down to be accountable to my anger management needs. I am just tired from the whole experience and trying to regroup and not be so drained. But you know I am wiped out. I am going to finish on a nice point. It is nice to have a space like this site to learn how to vent and just leave it at that. I did not grow up with this kind of coping and think it helps. Cheers to a better time

Wow! You sound JUST like me, only you are better about it than I. My neighbors are, while not quite \'the neighbors from hell\', I could do very well without their noise and nonsense. I have those very thoughts as you but can\'t get over them. Maybe because they (the neighbors) are always THERE, even if they aren\'t doing anything at the time, seeing them, their house across the street is a reminder, reinforcing the negitive thoughts.
I\'m glad you are thinking your situation through and trying to be a better person about it than that guy. My hats off to you.
