Hey, Look at the new features for our journaling. smiley-cool.gif Cool.

Well, things are so so. I am having a week long stretch of the runs. IBS is just not settling down this time of year. I have messed with this for over 25 years and admitt that there are some really bad times but things usually settle. The DR will need to do a colonoscopy to be sure this is all that plagues me. Imagine hoping IBS is all?? Well, grandma died from colonic cancer, Dad, Mom, Uncle, and sister all had polups...so things have some risk here.

I am coming up on 13 years of soberity. This is exciting. Kind of like the only thing I have done for me...and others by default.  My family is not supportive of this because they would have to deal with their issues first. So, I am a loner on this subject. Funny how I feel support in a room full of strangers at "AA"than in my parents house. Ah, it is what it is. And by learning to let things alone I keep my version of sanity. Or clearity anyway.

Well, there is another scribble for passers by to read.

Cheers

I hope things will be ok.
I\'ve delt with unsupportive people in my life. Be strong, who needs them! Don\'t let anyone drag you down or make you feel bad. You have the power over them when you are brave within yourself.

I have not lived near my family since \'79... instead created a patchwork of family of friends, and co-workers through the years. Now, my sister is supportive, and the heart attack did bring more calls from others. Love and support is from the heart and soul, not the blood. I am super impressed with your 13 years.... Yeah!!!
