Yeah that\'s bad. But it\'s done and over with. He just needs to work at getting it back. I don\'t knw how basic works, but when he gets out, the amount of his pay will depend on his rank. glad you got to talk to him though.

Yes its bad. You really don\'t want the drill sergeants riding you the whole time you\'re in basic. Not a good thing. Glad he called you though!
