Do you write him? Sometimes it is better to write things down. Letters may seem so old-fashion but if he\'s in basic he doesn\'t get a lot of priviledges. He does get time to write letters though. Talking isn\'t the only way to communicate. I\'ve learned that now after not only writing letters to Brian but to my mom, my brother, my cousins, and uncle. Letters are so much more personal, because you don\'t have to hurry up and talk on the phone because you have 100+ other soldiers behind also wanting to use the phone. You may not gets as many letters back from him, but believe me they\'ll mean so much to him. Try not to dwell on the negative of him being away. :) I know it is hard, just remember---Absence makes the heart grow fonder.--- I know it sounds corny but it really does. He\'s thinking you just as much as you are of him, but since he is having to stay busy ALL the time he can\'t dwell on it as much, but underneath it all he IS. We became closer the more he was away.
