got 3 letters today woo hoo!! only hard part of my day was when matts recruter came to one of my classes and talked to us about the benifits of joining the national guard. it was hard to look at the guy who "took matt away from me" but in the end i know he was just doing his job. i dont hate the man any more he is actually really nice. he asked me how matt was doing. and i told him he was ok and he said yea i bet he is home sick. he said homesickness is the hardest part. i am so proud of matt! he told me in his letters that he got "squad leader" he says he leads 12 guys. he wants to be one of the platoon leaders too. that has 57 members. i couldnt be prouder!! i love him!
