Feeling a little better today, though I wish the weekend could have been longer!  I got together with friends Saturday night and went kayaking yesterday.  Both days were gorgeous, weather-wise, and I think the relentless sun  helped me.  While my father was away, I put bird feeders up in his backyard as a surprise for him to come home to.  He left me a message last night and I could tell he really appreciated it.  He has a lot of time on his hands now that Mom is gone and birding is something he's been wanting to get into.  It's also something that will bond him even more with my partner, who is an expert on all things avian!
