I've been sick with an ear infection for teh past 2 days. Things just keep coming up. Today I finally found out my HPV is high risk. No symtoms though. Taked to my doctor and he said come back in a year and then we can continue to test if things get worse. I am not sure this is the right answer. Everyday is such a struglle with so many medical problems that I already have. Been parying alot, going to church every sunday, hoping for a miracle. Feel like I am losing it. Wish my husband I could be togerther on the weekends. He is the only one that helps me get through the days. He is very supportive.  Not sure what the next step is. The doctor says I have a 70% chance that it may not become cervical cancer but the 30% is not such a great chance of getting ot either. I just wish someone would have told me about this sooner. I wish I knew about the vaccine before. I just think that if this is how I will die, I just need to know how long so I can male some plans and do something with my life and enjoy what is left of it. I know heaven is beeter and I will not miss earthly things at all but I hate knowing that this is the path I am on.

The vaccine only protect from 4 of the over 200 types of HPV. Some of the High risk HPV strains have nothing to do with STD\'s so don\'t beat yourself up over this. You are not going to die from HPV....even if you get cancer..early detection is the key to cure. I have had HPV for over 23 years..and yes I did get lax on my pap test and got full blown cancer...stage 4...did have surgery, chemo and interferon treatments. I\'m in remission again thank God. Most docs say your safe with a pap every year but I recommend every 6 months if your still testing positive for high risk.
