Ive been thinking about something, mostly because I am so mad. I think I am going to look into pursuing malpractice charges against 3 of my doctors. never in 8 years did any of them test me for Lyme disease. the majority of my illness and slow progression downwards could very well have been avoided had someone looked at the whole picture. it has caused me lossof income, pain, depression, anxiety just to mention a few feelings. I have been misdiagnosed with conditions that I did not have, some that I was tested for and although I tested negative, was told I had, and others although I  wasn't tested at all, was told I had. I've been poo pooed out the door and refused pain medicine for my implied hypochondria numerous times. numerous tests were run on me and results were reported to me to be normal, yet when I requested a copy of my medical files and looked thru them I found that there were many tests that were in fact outside of the normal boundaries. One test which I was not to eat after midnight said in so many words that I hsd in fact eaten after midnight and the test needed to be repeated when I followed directions properly. that was for my gall bladder a few years ago. last year I had an endoscopy and I was found to have undigested food in my stomach from something like 15 hours prior. this indicates that I probably had this condition (Gastroparesis) when the gall bladder study was done and had the person ready it taken into acount that there may have been an underlying medical condition causing it instead of just assuming the patient was lying, my gastroparesis could have diagnosed a few years earlier providing another puzzle piece.  Lyme disease can be fatal if left untreated. I wonder if it weren't for an astute doctor who happened to see me on a day my regular PCP wasn't there, to whom I complained of nothing particularly new, would I be dead now? would they have found my Lyme disease at autopsy?  What the hell is wrong with the medical community?  what are they there for? when are they going to stop practicing on us and actually began administering medicine? when is saving lives, and/or improving the quality of life going to become a priority instead of how many patients I can see this hour? What answer do you get from someone who wants to go to medical school as to why they have chossen that path? I can tell you because it is my dream, I want to help people. what happened to your dream? when did your office become an assembly line? why not a drive through? When did you stop caring? When did you stop caring? when did you stop caring?

I can surely see your point and have felt the same way. It might be worth a consult with an \"ambulance chaser\" the best ones are the ones with the most obnoxious advertising.

I know what you mean lorr. I no longer have much faith in doctors. No one really cares anymore, everything is about money. I really wish you the best and sadly enough alot of it is up to you, don\'t give up. There are still some out there that can help you. Lots of love kim
