Nurse useless calls to say "oh, nurse moreuseless said you were perfectly capable of administering your own drugs and didn't need us."
patient calls doctor after researching her disease and says, hey ...ya might wanna look up treatment regimen, its not 10 days..... Doc calls back and say "28 day?" patient says...ok.
IV #2 blows. dosen't sound like much but it was stick number 15 or 16.
nursing service refuses to come out to attempt IV, will call Doc in morning and suggest PIC line
nursing supervisor calls and suggests calling doc for order for PIC line at ER
Patient does so, doc says will do......tommorrow
Patient sits down with enough equiptment for 1 IV an has talk with God..... gets IV and gives self anti-biotic :-)

Patient goes to hospital for PIC line under anesthesia and comes home drunk as a monkey! hic

dr\'s...nurses....all useless.... these dr\'s go to med school for 6 years and come out with enough qualifications to work on a tomato stall.... typical...
also, can i just ad....why the hell are they giving u an anesthetic ??? i had mine while i was awake...took about half an hour and although it hurt, it wasn\'t really that bad..... just an idea for u to suggest to the almighty dr\'s.... brainless sods.

I can\'t comment at all - just spent 10 days trying to survive my own Dr\'s strange concepts -wanted to give me Stemetil for injured back (useless and I\'m v.v.allergic to it)-ask \" Please - muscle relaxants\" (muscles in neck, right down to bum tensed p -hard as rocks! - No. WE don\'t do that, we give Valium! Yes, it does help a bit, but then I cannot drive: I\'m dizzy when upright: OH! says she \"you\'ve go a thingo wrong with your ears, & it affects your balance! Fortunately Terry next door has some muscle relaxants left over from his accident - glorious man -pain free 4-5 hrs: can go shopping etc. I think she\'s seriously overworked! - A phenothiazine for a back injury? Dear God help us! Oh! dears, today it was 30deg. - so warm I did not wear my long johns! DON\"T LET THE BASTARDS GET YOU DOWN! JaneD.

I don\'t know what to say other then you have a wonderful sense of humor and that will carry you thru all of this. medical monkey is a perfect way to say it. I will stay tuned to the next episode. With all the TV writers on strike it is perfect timing. god bless you,,you are so strong.

holy shit girl... have you ever considered moving to get different health care??? may seem a bit drastic but with what they are doing to you now...hmmmm...who knows...may be worth it in the long run...smile..
